Rep. Scott Tipton (CO-03) visited his alma mater to discuss the importance of entrepreneurship with Fort Lewis College students. House Republicans are working to increase transparency to lower costs in higher education. Tipton, a first-generation college student, offered words of encouragement, “You’re going to be the members of Congress, you’re going to be the entrepreneurs.”

The Academy of Moore County is a tuition-free, public charter school that offers area students an alternative to public schools. Rep. Renee Ellmers (NC-02) visited the students and teachers this week to witness the positive impact charter schools have on children. House Republicans have passed the Student Success Act to help expand choices for parents so that students everywhere have greater access to high quality schools.
